Living at his parents’ house, trapped by an unfulfilled dream of becoming a musician and by the idealised image of an ex-girlfriend who left him a year ago and whom he has not seen since, Nicolau feels unable to move forward and create a life of his own. He takes on odd jobs that do not allow him to leave his parents’ home, until the day he discovers that his mother is just as dissatisfied with her life as he is.

Nicolau is shaken, but he does not fall. On the contrary, he moves forward and sets his life back in motion — along with his dreams and his heart.
