Readings to Breathe and Imagine – Mother’s Day Special

he Gustavo Pinto Lopes Municipal Library will host, on May 3rd (Sunday) at 10:30 a.m., another session of “Readings to Breathe and Imagine”, on the occasion of Mother’s Day.

This initiative is aimed at families with children aged between 3 and 8 years old and is free of charge, subject to prior mandatory registration with limited places, via the link: https://forms.office.com/e/rQj8h05wGL?origin=lprLink

The session begins in a calm and welcoming atmosphere, fostering an emotional connection to the story “A mãe é minha!” by Eduardo Sá. The reading celebrates maternal love and the everyday gestures of care that make children feel safe and loved.

After the story, each child will be invited to create an illustrated message or a small keepsake to offer to their mother or a maternal figure, in a tender and meaningful moment.

The initiative “Readings to Breathe and Imagine” aims to provide children with moments of calm, focus, and creative expression, combining themed reading with artistic activities that encourage interpretation and imagination.
