Torres Novas outdoor swimming pools reopen following renovation works

The outdoor swimming pools at the Fernando Cunha Municipal Complex in Torres Novas reopened to the public on 28 August, offering a renovated space with improved facilities for recreation and leisure.

The redevelopment work included the refurbishment of the former diving pool through the construction of a new pool within the existing structure.

The former children’s pool was replaced by a new general-use swimming pool, which includes an area specifically designed for children and babies.

The complex also features a new suspended deck covering approximately 465 square metres, increasing the space available for relaxation and leisure. Improvements were also made to the landscaped area and the area along the banks of the River Almonda, strengthening the connection between the complex and its natural surroundings.

The outdoor swimming pools are open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., inviting residents and visitors to enjoy the summer days in a renovated space in the heart of Torres Novas.
