2026 Nuts and Dried Fruits Fair – Best-Decorated Shop Window Competition

The “Vila” Digital Commercial District is promoting the shop window competition “Vila, Digital Commercial Neighbourhood at the 2026 Nuts and Dried Fruits Fair”, an initiative aimed at involving local retailers in creating an atmosphere inspired by the National Nuts and Dried Fruits Fair, while promoting traditional commerce and the identity of Torres Novas’ historic centre.

All commercial establishments that are members of the “Vila” Digital Commercial Neighbourhood and are duly licensed to carry out their activity may participate.

Registration will be open from 1 to 15 September 2026. Shop windows must be fully decorated by 20 September and remain decorated until 5 October 2026.

The final ranking will be determined by a public vote held through the “Vila” Digital Commercial Neighbourhood Facebook page and by the assessment of a specialised judging panel.

The results will be announced on 1 October 2026.

Important dates:

1 to 15 September 2026 — Registration;

20 September 2026 — Deadline for decorating the shop window;

24 September 2026 at 12:00 — Deadline for submitting photographs of the shop window;

25 to 30 September 2026 — Assessment and voting;

1 October 2026 — Announcement of the results and awards ceremony;

20 September to 5 October 2026 — Period during which the shop windows must remain decorated.
