9th Gastronomic Festival – Couves com Feijões

From 13 to 22 November, the Municipality of Torres Novas hosts the 9th Gastronomic Festival “Couves com Feijões”, taking place across 38 participating restaurants.

The festival aims to promote and preserve one of Torres Novas’s traditional dishes, with the involvement of the Confraria das Couves com Feijões de Carvalhal da Aroeira, a gastronomic brotherhood dedicated to this local speciality.

Throughout the 10-day event, visitors can enjoy cabbage and beans prepared in a variety of ways and served with a wide range of accompaniments at participating restaurants.
