AL Guitar Duo is an acoustic guitar duo made up of André Ramos and Luís Fialho.

Their passion for the sound of the acoustic guitar and their desire to share the energy and harmony of this instrument led them to create this project. They now present their latest album, Reencontro (Reunion), featuring original compositions inspired by Latin music and jazz, with influences from Portuguese music.

For this album, they collaborated with renowned musicians from the Portuguese and Spanish music scenes, including Pedro Joia, João Frade, Ricardo J. Martins, Ivo Martins, and Rosa Escobar.

In addition to their original compositions, the programme also features arrangements of works by influential composers such as Paco de Lucía, as well as interpretations of traditional Portuguese music. A concert full of rhythm, harmony, and energy.

This event is part of the VOLver collaborative cultural programme.

Free admission, subject to ticket collection at Teatro Virgínia.
