Still Reich by Focus Cia. de Dança (Brasil)

Still Reich brings together four works by Alex Neoral created from the music of the American composer Steve Reich: “Pathways”, “Trilhas”, “Wood Steps” and “Keta”. Inspired by the composer’s minimalism and rhythmic structures, the performance explores combination, repetition, and tension as driving forces of movement. Winner of the Cesgranrio Dance Award for Best Choreography, it was also nominated for Best Male Dancer and Best Female Dancer, establishing itself as one of the most emblematic works in the repertoire of Focus Cia de Dança.

Alex Neoral is the artistic director and founder of Focus Cia de Dança, a reference in contemporary dance for 25 years in Rio de Janeiro. The company has performed in more than 100 cities in Brazil and 11 countries. During Carnival, he signs the choreography of the front commission of Vila Isabel.
