EJIT’2026

20 June 2026, from 17:00 to 19:00

EJIT is an annual event and educational-artistic initiative created in 2005 by the Torres Novas Music Conservatory in partnership with the municipality’s philharmonic bands.

After almost two decades of EJIT, with workshops and concerts featuring hundreds of young talents from the region under the guidance of distinguished guest conductors — predominantly from the Iberian Peninsula — including renowned Portuguese conductors such as Alberto Roque, Pedro Neves, Fernando Marinho, André Granjo, Paulo Martins and Diogo Costa; Spanish conductors Rafael Agulló, David Fiúza, Ignácio Petit and Ferrer Ferran; as well as the Dutch composer and conductor Jacob de Haan — the project has, over the last three editions, evolved into a symphonic experience through the inclusion of string sections.

In 2026, Torres Novas hosts the 19th edition of EJIT, a production that is reborn annually in partnership with Teatro Virgínia.
