Theatre and Contemporary Circus // “Pharol 54”

The Almonda Parque garden will host “Pharol 54” on 25 September at 9:30 pm, performed and directed by Thorsten Grütjen.

“A farewell story about light, guidance and hope” is how the synopsis describes this show, which follows the memories and adventures of a lighthouse keeper on his final day of service before being replaced by an automated system.

Thorsten Grütjen has lived in Portugal since 1992. A juggler and clown, he works in physical theatre, contemporary circus and improvisation. He founded “O Grande Embrulho”, created the Caracol Cultural mobile stage and has devised several shows. He has also collaborated with Chapitô.

Suitable for ages 3 and over, the show lasts 50 minutes. Admission is free, but tickets must be collected in advance, with a limit of two tickets per person.
