The Torres Novas Marketplace allows traders to offer their products for sale.
The estimated delivery time for a product, by shipping method, is available on the respective product page, ‘Delivery in xx – yy days’ and varies depending on the type of product and the Seller.
Each Seller chooses the shipping methods they want to offer, as well as the cost of each one and the geographical areas of Portugal to which they ship. Shipping methods, cost, and estimated delivery time can be found on each product page and at checkout.
The Seller is responsible for shipping orders.
Customers have the option of paying for their orders directly to merchants.
This solution will enable payment for orders via direct transfer to retailers using one of the following methods:
- MB WAY (telephone number provided by the merchant)
- Direct bank transfer (via IBAN)
- SPIN (new payment tool provided by Banco de Portugal)
When the payment details are provided during the order checkout process, a reference number is provided which must be entered on the proof of payment for the method(s) used, in order to facilitate verification by the merchant.
It is also possible to purchase products with payment made in a physical shop, directly to the merchant(s).
Any private customer in Portugal, aged 18 or over, can purchase products from the Marketplace.
